Bathroom renovations

Full bathroom plumbing, from rough-in to the final fit-off — managed as one job with one point of contact.

A bathroom renovation is the job where plumbing decisions are hardest to reverse. Waste and water need to be set before the walls close up, and getting a fall wrong or a waste in the wrong place is a demolition problem rather than an adjustment.

We handle the plumbing end to end: strip-out, rough-in, coordinating the waterproofer and tiler around our stages, then returning for the fit-off once the tiling is done. You get one project manager for the whole job, and we work to a written program so you know which trade is on site which week.

Most of our bathroom work comes from referrals in the same few streets, which is a reasonable indication that we finish what we start.

What drives the cost

These are the variables that make one quote different from another. Worth checking each of them against any quote you receive.

  • Whether the room is being reconfigured or fixtures stay in place
  • Slab versus timber floor — slab work means core drilling
  • The age of the existing stack and whether it needs replacing
  • Fixture and tapware selection
